Not to be picky.
But lots of the picture (including Curry’s posture) is obscured. Plus it takes detective work for a layman to see his number.
Still: Well freaking-done!
Though they sink through the Sea, they shall rise again...Death shall have no dominion...
If you have an erection
lasting more than the length of the football game, please contact the Seahawk Defense.
That was a very fluky pick.
But he played well apart from that, too.
inside of a dog it's too dark to read.
Agreed -- it just seems like Babs has a knack for being there in the right place at the right time
…odd how that works out. Many/most of his big plays aren’t especially athletic or amazing reads, he just is there for them.
In a weird kind of similarity for how Nick Reed gets to the QB and makes (made) plays as well. Shouldn’t really happen, but somehow does.
After Babs getting cut this year, I am happy to see him out there contributing. He also had some good tackles.
Is it just me
or was all the “Let’s go for it on 4th down, again” making Singletary look more like a college coach than Carrol?
OC- It’s 4th down again Mike what are your thoughts on that?
MS- I’m thinking of demonstrating our unique ability to demoralize the hell out of each other by running right at Mebane & Tat’s, why you have a better idea?
OC- ugh…, No.
Hindsight is 20/20
They really should have scored a TD on the 4th and goal— defense was just beaten.

Nothing wrong with the decisions to go for it...
The playcalling was questionable, but I’d hope Carroll would go for it as well.
4th and 1 is not as risky as the general public has been conditioned to believe.
Thank you Field Gulls for linking to this study in the past:

Especially when you aren't risking the play in your own territory...
I know I look at a field goal within the ten yard line as a win for the defense and actually dread the other team going for it and getting the touch.
Especially when you consider the "benefits" of "failure"
As demonstrated by the Saints in the Super Bowl. They failed to get the touchdown, but still got the field goal because the Colts were stuck in such bad field position.
The Seahawks 4th down
and redzone defense are greatly improved with a healthy Lofa & Mebane on the field.

Well
since I’m a friend of Field Gulls, I thought I’d wish you guys good luck (but not too much) Sunday. A Broncos win would be nice but i know you guys are really good so we’ve got to do our best.

I did not get to watch the Broncos play the Jags
Whats your impression of your team so far? Is Demarious Thomas injured? How did your D fense look?

Demarious Thomas is injured but my guess he would look to play this week
He practiced most, if not all of last week. The week 1 game looked like a week 1 effort mentally. Bad special teams and mental mistakes that cost them the game.

Well
as one of my MHR brethren so succinctly put it: our starters outplayed the Jags’ starters (which is true) but spotty special teams play and stupid penalties (Ryan McBean had consecutive face masks, that made me SO mad) did us in. With all of that said, we almost tied at 24-24 but on 4th and 3 late in the game, Brandon Lloyd had one foot out of bounds in the end zone. Our defense did all right, I hope Demaryius Thomas plays. Hopefully that helps!

Yes, nice of you to stop by
and, we apologize in advance of robbing you of Jeremy Bates, Ben Hamilton, and Tyler Polumbus, who we must now use to pummel your team into submission.
