But will that and a buck get you a king-sized candy bar.

… because that’s what’s happenin’.

Mmm Kit-Kat.

And it’s almost Halloween, so CHEAP CANDY EVERYWHERE! WHEE!

Fans are typically idiots.

They also give Seattle a 55.6% chance of making the playoffs

Basically, their simulator believes that the Rams still suck, and the Niners suck even worse, making the NFC West a fairly even 2-team race.

It's too early still.

If the Rams win more games than the Niners than something has gone horribly wrong. Like “San Francisco was blown up by a meteor” wrong.

I'm surprised by this.

I thought our first half coupled with the general inability to move the ball on the ground would move us back in a few of their categories.

Me too.

Yet somehow the offense grades out as a tick above average.

It's the nose I think.

If we haven't already,

can we start referring to Leroy Hill as Kimbo Slice?

Sweet, my first noob slap down

Sorry, did not notice my reply fail. Been reading this site for a year now and have seen a few first- time posters get the noob treatment, and never post again. While I see the value of our site decorum I think this type of self-regulation should be reserved for repeat offenders. If someone needs to be reminded, a message to them could read: “Hey, great post, thanks. You appear to be new to the community so I wanted to welcome you and direct you to FGs rules page.” If this doesn’t work then a kind reminder should be issued. We should always care more for the person than the rules.

Great observation.

I concur.

You know what it's like to be struck by a load of bullshit

Giving you a specialized skill set, which was previously available only from Biff Tannen and narcoleptic farm labor.

Maybe that would have worked if I'd have said...

“…strikes me like a load of bullshit.”

Regardless, not sure why you would choose to be a dick for no reason. Enjoy your rec?

by scorpiknox on Sep 15, 2010 2:29 PM PDT up reply actions

I didn't mean to insult you,

and I’m sorry if it came off that way.

It was only meant as literalist humor, answering the rhetorical question (“what do I know”) with reference to the previous metaphor (“load of bullshit”). Sometimes, that sort of thing comes off as amusing; other times, it just sounds stupid.

Cheers.

Internet comments/posts are a pain ti interpret sometimes.

I usually give whoever the benefit of the doubt and if I feel insulted, re-read.
