Week 2 Fantasy Football Discussion
Last year I made it to the playoffs despite having the worst offense in the league and a piss poor fantasy draft. This year I ended up losing 87-78 in my opener because Matt Forte inflated Jay Cutler's stats and I didn't start Ahmad Bradshaw. Earlier this week I pulled off a trade sending Bradshaw away for Shonn Greene and Justin Forsett.
Here's my current roster:
QB - Drew Brees, Brett Favre
RB - Justin Forsett, LeSean McCoy, Matt Forte, Thomas Jones, Knowshon Moreno, Shonn Greene
WR - Wes Welker, Marques Colston, Jeremy Maclin
TE - John Carlson, Jeremy Shockey
K - Olindo Mare
TM - Dallas Cowboys
Okay I've gone over 75 words so that should be enough to get the ball rolling. Does your fantasy team refuse to put up points like mine does?

Which WR's to start...
Mark Clayton, Greg Jennings, Hakeem Nicks, Crabtree, or Housh
Need 2 or 3. One is a flex spot. For that, I have Hightower or Reggie Bush also.
Jennings and Nicks
I don’t see Clayton getting that same action every week. Crabtree looked terrible last week, and Housh is WR3. I guess i’d go Bush in the flex. Flex your bush
I didn't realize that
I guess I’d put Crabtree in there if Nicks is out, just because SF is going to be playing catchup on MNF
Crabtree, Jennings, Clayton
I think Housh will have a good game but I also think Clayton with another week will get plenty of targets. That is a team with serious WR problems and a serious injury bug as well. Clayton will be the go to guy for Bradford until his legs fall off. Pickup of the YEAR if he doesn’t get injured and STL doesn’t get VJ. Crabtree and Smith will want to prove to everyone including their team and fans that they can work together. You gotta believe all week they have been tossing passes non stop to get on rhythm. Jennings is an always start as far as I am concerned as long as AR and GJ are healthy run with them, Also loss of Ryan Grant they may feel pressure to air it out more.

Help me
Need 2: Randy Moss, McFadden, Garcon, Aromadoshu
I just can’t help but think Moss might be shut down. Also, I know Michael Bush is back and could steal some DMC carries.
Mcfadden vs STL gotta go for it.
Second is Randy Moss. The guy is a Star with a Star QB. Unless there injuries hes a must start over a 2nd WR in Garcon and a ? in Aromadoshu

Bradshaw
I’m not a fan of any of your RBs, so I don’t like your trading Bradshaw away for those 2 RBs. Especially this week. Rest of your team looks solid.
Shonn Greene was a great buy low candidate this week.
But it is a high risk, high reward gamble by trading away Bradshaw.
Three tough decisions
Owen Daniels or John Carlson
Houshmandzadeh or Knox
Flacco or Hasslebeck.
Keep the homerism to a low on these.
Split Seahawks/Texans fan. Don't like it? Don't care.
Daniels, Housh, Flacco
if your running Flacco and think he is hot shit you have to run with Housh to double up on the points. I understand the conservative play to use Knox over Housh incase of the goose egg but with Heap not 100% and Clayton all but out of the picture and another week Housh and his sexy hands will catch more passes. Don’t be afraid to go for the Combo QB/WR

I am in a 16 league IDP league that starts 22 players
and I have ronnie brown pierre thomas and Mccoy as my top 3 rbs we play 2rb 2flex 2wr.
I also have Larry Fitz TO and Jeremy Maclin as my top 3 WR. Now I am thinking you are in a 12 team league and if so that means you need some serious upgrades to your WR. Depending on format and weather its ppr and how many flex and wr you play. But I would recommend you ditch Shockey and Thomas Jones/ Knowshon Moreno in a trade for an upgraded WR.
Your RB Starters are LeSean McCoy, Matt Forte, no matter the matchup at this point I think. I just can’t personally see playing Moreno anytime the guy is made of Paper. Forsett while awesome did not lead the Seahawks in carries last week. If given the chance Pete Carroll will do like everyone else and run down the least valuable parts of his team during a lead. Until an Injury happens in our backfield I dont see starting Forsett. A good back to target if your looking to trade is Run DMC. Although hes been injured alot I think he has the job in Oakland secured and he will get plenty of chances to shine. Although it may be too late after that week 1 performance.

jesus
Was there a live draft for such a league? Holy crap; that draft would take about seven hours.

my sitch
Basically my main dilemma this week was between starting Brett Favre or Matt Ryan. I’m going with Ryan because Arizona’s defense ain’t what it used to be, and I’m looking for Favre and his offense to get in sync before I start him again.
So with Favre, Steve Smith of the Giants, Reggie Bush, and Chris Cooley grabbing pine, I’m starting Ryan, Andre Johnson, Steven Jackson, Jason Witten, Greg Jennings, Nate Kaeding, Curtis Lofton, Trent Cole, and Charles Woodson. It’s 0.5pt per reception in this league and you get three defensive players.

wacky trade offers
I had a guy try three times this week to send me Brandon Jackson. The last offer he made was Romo and Brandon Jackson, but he wanted me to send him Andre Johnson and Steven Jackson. Like I’m going to give up on possibly the top receiver in the league after one week where they barely threw to him.
