So I'm picking the Buffalo Bills in the Losers' Pool that I'm in...
…which is an obvious choice but maybe too obvious. Like 2/3rds of the league picked them this week. I’m half-rooting for them to win now just because that would totally screw the pool over.

27 year olds with limited NFL success generally don't turn into good QBs all of the sudden.

LoJack with an awful whiff
That should’ve been a sack.

Favre is imploding.
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
Wow, that was the stupidest roughing penalty I think I've ever seen.
Carolina’s Greg Hardy vs. TB.
Dude didn't "flop", jackass.
He got hit and fell down.

I remember a play in the final Sonic playoff run where Antonio Daniels drove past Manu Ginobili and Ginobili acted like he took a brutal elbow to the head.

Josh Freeman is looking very impressive
I honestly haven’t a clue what his stats look like today, but he’s looking like an intelligent QB with above average physical tools. Very impressed with what I’ve seen in bits and pieces from that game.
Favre needs to hang it up.
You’re making your team worse with your selfish “need” to win a Superbowl you old, washed-up, man

Except that at least Favre was decent last year.
Whereas Griffey was terrible in 2009 and never should have been invited back in the first place.
by Johnny Slick on Sep 19, 2010 11:54 AM PDT up reply actions
Griffey was somewhat servicable as a platoon DH, pinch-hitter in 2009, but yeah Favre obviously has the talent advantage.
Griffey was just good enough to not get cut in 2009.
The M’s really, really should have just said “hey, fun season, will you be our goodwill ambassador now?” His OPS+ was 97; the .214 BA wasn’t the sum total of his game but that’s a lot to have to make up for with power and walks.
