The Party Next Door
Jeff Sullivan over at Lookout Landing writes about his first ever home Seahawks game in which he covers beer, the 12th Man, and how the experience of a single game put the NFL back on his radar.
Go check it out. This is an excellent read.

Very good read!
Qwest, though, is something else. There’s no denying it. Though the game went well, the game didn’t dictate the atmosphere like it might in other places. The atmosphere was almost independent. People were there to be loud and cheer on the Seahawks, and hopefully the Seahawks would win, but even if they didn’t, the atmosphere would’ve been nuts. The Seahawks don’t so much play home games as they do participate in 70,000 individual experiences.
Qwest is an amazing facility.
I’ve loved just about every Seahawks game and Sounders match I’ve gone to there.
Hell, it was an amazing venue to watch a DCI competition.
i LOVED THIS POST
Especially about the post where Seattle fans had smiles on their face! Woohoo
I've never been to Qwest Field. Didn't think it was worth a trip to Seattle.
But after riding this I wanna. And I realize one must go to temple first and hire a stagecoach driver after.

I love Qwest and the atmosphere.
Even while I was watching the Thursday Night Debacle against the 49ers I had the time of my life.
Really, really good write up.
It was awesome to read someones view and perspective on it that isn’t really into going or watching games anymore.
All the regular season games I have been to have been so much fun, so much electricity. My Uncle has season tickets up in the nest, but also has a company suite setup, so I usually try and get tickets once a year, and it’s one of these feelings you crave after it’s over. I’ve never done drugs or drank, but I imagine the feeling is similar, haha. Just thinking about the last regular season game I went to, just makes me want to get back in there real bad. Pre-season is fun too, but it’s definitely not the same.
Lifelong love for the Hawks.
What a great read.
One of my favorite lines.
We made our way to the 300 level and opted for standing room squares instead of the seats we’d been assigned. The way it was explained to me was that Robert liked to have room to run around. I didn’t really get it then. I got it soon.
Sounds like real Robert is not far off from my imaginary friend Robert.
Why don't people realize that I'm actually a real person?
