PrintIts the fourth quarter, Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 430 yards with no interceptions. The game is tied, Green Bay has the ball at Pittsburgh's 20 yard line. 1st down 5 minutes left and the Packers look like they are gonna score. After 5 false start penalties against Green Bay and 3 offensive pass interference calls it is now 4th and 100 yards to go. Rogers throws a 100 yard touchdown bomb to Jennings! But wait there is a flag! The ref calls a new penalty we have never heard about that automatically gives the ball to the Steelers at the Packers one yard line. After three downs the Steelers still can't punch it in. 4th and 1 and Tomlin says go for it!!! Troy Polamalu's hair separates from his scalp and runs off the sideline tripping up Clay Matthews as he tries to take a lick on Mendenhall, The Packers scream for an 12th man penalty to no avail. Pittsburgh now has the lead with a minute thirty left, They squib it and the Packers pick it up quickly and run it in for the tie!!! But wait another flag!!! The ref calls holding on the return team and two personal fouls against Packers players on the sideline that aren't even suited up to play. Then Jesus, Buddha, and Mohammed float down on the field and instead of kneeling down to burn the clock they lift Roethlisberger into the end zone placing him in a bath filled with Hines Ward's tears of joy. Jubilation in Pittsburgh...Later that night Big Ben is arrested in North Dallas high on crystal meth with a conglomerate of ex-midget pornstars, he claims to have no involvment with the other suspects and is simply celebrating with his loyal fans.
yeah I got jokes, Just still a little sour over the superbowl they stole from us thats all, may the best team win....

I don't understand.
Are they ex-midget pornstars because they are no longer midgets and normal size? Or are they still midgets that are just ex-pornstars?

Its a mix its a collective of people involved in both the midget porn and meth manufacturing industry that happen to be Steelers fans. Some are smaller people some are average size but they are all large below the belt.
My Superbowl prediction:
Greenbay will play a game of football against Pittsburgh. Some players will block, some will catch, all will run, some will “run”, some will block, some will even throw. It will turn out to be the superbowl game of the day, if not the year.
2/3 of the world is covered by water. The rest is covered by Marcus Trufant.

the team that scores more points will win the game.
Unless the Packers score more points, then the refs will straighten things out

Thing is though - This is becoming a trend
Fanposts are suppose to be a way for community members to add to conversation. People are just using them to spout off their voice without leaving the community a chance to interact. Fanposts are for people that want to bring up things for community discussion.
Even this one would of possibly been fine if he added at the end – “What are you crazy predictions for the Superbowl”

I will post more relevant topics for us to discuss as Seahawks fans.
But thats the hard thing because it is ok to post something comedy based (Even though comedy is subjective and you might get ripped on anyway)
You’re probably getting more backlash because of the fact that “this is the latest in a series of bad fanposts” that has been going on for a couple of weeks even before you joined (cause you’re new)
Just find a way to involve the community discussion more with your fanposts. So it doesn’t come off as a rant / Live Journal post.

How is this different
than your “video previews” you post? Those aren’t asking for conversation, they’re just funny. Maybe there should be clearer guidelines for those people that are newer and don’t quite know the ins and outs.
And my main point above was that people were being mean and insulting instead of constructively criticizing. Someone shouldn’t be belittled for trying to participate on FG, let the Niners nation idiots do that stuff.

The mods do probably need to revisit the fanposts guidelines or figure out what we want to do going forward. Because I don’t want to discourage someone that has something to add to stop from posting. And there is definitely some negative comments in heres that are unnecessary and my response to you wasn’t a dig at what you said more just stating why I thought that was happening.
But IMIN4LIFE took it in stride and didn’t fire back with anything hateful. So he gets the gold ribbon for the day.

I apologize, honestly, I just thought it was funny but you guys are right in the sense it didn't promote a relevant convo towards our Hawks
In the future I’ll post some relevant and more thought provoking articles for this was simply a joke that obviously wasn’t well accepted by the field gulls faithful. I truly appreciate this site and i’ll no longer post things that are not relevant to football. cheers.

We’ve just had a lot of fanposts lately that don’t do much to promote discussion and it’s become a bit of a problem.

Like I was saying there is so much b.s. in the sports blogging world all I was going on a bit of a tangent at the time and at the wrong time apparently, It gets frustrating when new members pop up and may appear to not take the site seriously at all. I am actually a true Seahawks fan and I’m just as entertained if not more with informative discussion based posts as comedic exerts. Thus being said “group hug” we all love the Seahawks and we should share our thoughts about the team in ways that benefit all of our knowledge of the happenings that go on on the field and behind the scenes of the organization. This is now my favorite website and Its just awesome to be updated on the happenings of the Hawks and share my insights with the 12th man…NUFF RESPECT to all those who are vets to this site and help me more understand what goes on with the Hawks!!!
