Congratulations From CSC

Hey Seahawks fans,

Didn't see a similar post here yet, so on behalf of Saints fans over at Canal Street Chronicles, I just wanted to congratulate you folks on your great win today. Though we're all feeling sick and depressed at going out of the playoffs, hopefully nobody from CSC has resorted to trolling your site.

I have to admit that a lot of us, myself included, underestimated your team and just how hard they could play. The win was truly deserved. Hasselback's touchdowns and that amazing run by Marshawn Lynch will haunt us all throughout the offseason.

Good luck in the divisional round!

Thank you.

I just went over to CSC and you guys are handling it well, in my opinion. Very classy. I supported you guys last year and probably would have again, had we not met in the first round.

Something tells me you guys will be back in the playoffs soon.

Super classy

A loss like this is very tough. Thanks for the congratulations.

Thanks!

And for the record, I would literally be incapable of making a thread this classy if our roles were reversed. I would be bitter, nasty, shitfaced, and miserable. So even more respect to you, and best of luck next year.

Me too

I’d be avoiding the Internet for a while.

Thank you. Honestly.

Still to jacked up to try and type anything else out without sounding like a jerk, but wanted to let you know this is appreciated.

Thanks for coming in here

I just wish the trolls had stayed out of Canal Street today.

Anyway, best of luck with the draft, and best to you and your team, Jay.

I second all of this

Thanks very much, Jay, and my apologies for the trolls . . . there are lowlifes in every crowd, alas.

Speaking of classy -

thebyron left a really great post on CSC titled “There’s probably no good way to do this.” Man, just that opening line speaks volumes on how true fans can relate to one another.

I also want to congratulate Seattle on your well earned victory. Party hearty, y’all.

As echoed but several of my CSC brethren Congratulations.

You earned this victory 100%. Enjoy the ride, it’s a fun one. Best of luck in the next round and going forward.

Not only for taking the game in enough stride

but also for overlooking our emotional statements in game threads and post-game threads, thank you. And I will still root for the Saints in the next regular season.

Me too.

As a Seattle fan, the Saints give me hope.

The national media is just upset that the banner teams like Giants and cowboys and redskins aren’t in so keep it going and piss off the rest of the nfl it will be fun

Thanks for the "Thumbs Up"...................Means a lot to me.

First one I ever got on an opposing teams blog. I just wanted to say "Thumbs Up’ on your next Playoff game and I’ll be rooting for you. If your Hawks continue with the same intensity you showed against my Saints, I pedict another win for you and if you do, I will be the first to come back with congratulations. Good Luck !!!!

Sorry it had to be you guys

I would have rather beaten the Eagles and their cocky, whiny fans, but what can you do.

No kidding.

At least the Packers took care of that . . .

It's already been said, but I'll say what I was going to say anyway:

I appreciate your class and congratulations.

Thanks to all the Saints fans coming on here.

It means a lot and this is one of the reasons I love SBNation. For the most part, the fans on these blogs are pretty cool. And best of luck to the Saints next season. They’ve been my 2nd team since 06 now.

Congrats on the win on Saturday and good luck going forward in the playoffs.

Heck of a game to watch. Hard fought game. You guys deserved to come out on top.

Enjoy every minute of the post season and I hope that it is a very long run for you guys. Have a lot of faith in your team as they showed they are just as capable as any playoff team. Regular season records disappear in the playoffs, you guys earned your spot in the playoffs and showed everybody on Saturday that you are a team not to be taken lightly.

All the best.
