Post Your Hawk: Week 8

Don't laugh Charlie. You blew goats
Cincinnati Bengals (4-2) vs. Seattle Seahawks (2-4)
Cincinnati Injuries: Nate Clements CB (Knee, LP Wed., LP Thurs.); Howard Thomas LB (Hamstring, DNP Wed., LP Thurs.); Kelly Jennings CB (Hamstring, FP Wed., FP Thurs.); Adam Jones CB (Neck, FP Wed., FP Thurs.); Rey Maualuga LB (Ankle, DNP Wed., DNP Thurs.); Dan Skuta LB (Groin, LP Wed., LP Thurs.)
Seattle Injuries: Atari Bigby S (Hamstring, DNP Thurs.); Brandon Browner (Not injury related, DNP Wed.); Kam Chancellor S (Knee, FP Wed., FP Thurs.); Tarvaris Jackson QB (Pectoral, LP Wed., LP Thurs.); Jeron Johnson S (Ankle, DNP Thurs.); Marshawn Lynch RB (Back, FP Wed., FP Thurs.); Zach Miller TE (Neck/Head, LP Wed., FP Thurs.); Max Unger C (Foot, LP Wed, FP Thurs.)
After last week's shit sandwich, I'm looking for some hope up in this bitch. I'm going deep, a la the Sex Cannon. My Hawk this week is Sydney Rice. Even though I don't think Tarvaris is going to play this week, and even though the Bengals' defense is better than I realized, I believe Rice is going to come up big -- to the tune of 6 catches, 120 yards, and 2 TDs. Hawks win 24-17.
Those who picked David Hawthorne (ME!), or Chris Clemons picked the only two players to have a good week. Nobody took Red Bryant. Here's the link to the point prediction spreadsheet: Link. The last two weeks have been pretty ugly for the majority of us. Also, this week's spreadsheet reflects the first week in which people have been dropped from the list as they've already missed more than four weeks. Even if you've been eliminated from the championship, you can still give me score predictions and I'll still track them in the spreadsheet; I'll just hide the rows when it comes to linking to it in the Post Your Hawk FanPost.
Who ya got?!

Sidney Rice
Hopefully he lines up against Kelly Jennings and lights him up for 11 catches for 141 Yards and 2 TDs, Seahawks win 24-17

Wow
In the excitement of being first post, I actually did not even read your predictions until I finished posting mine, I just realized I probably look like a total douche for picking same player, same TDs and same effing SCORE?!?!?!

It's ok.
We can raise beers together when our prediction comes true.

Yes, big hit with the Afghan crowd
Although it’s been a real “Kabab Fest” there lately.

Kelly Jennings is the 4th CB
And I don’t think Tarvaris would exploit that matchup anyway

Browner
8 tackles, 2 PD, 1INT.
Hawks 34 Bengals 20
Earl Thomas
The D will force the Bengals into a mostly one dimension passing game. Earl gets a pick 6.
Runner-up: Chris Clemons with 1FF and 2 more sacks.
With Charlie at the reins, another defensive battle. Hawks 12-7.
Kam Chancellor
Sack and a pick.
Bengals 17-10

Lynch
200 yards 2TD’s because he owes us two games worth of production..
Marshawn Lynch
18 carries for 63 yards, 3 catches for 22. 2 TDs, thanks to some good field positioning by the D/ST units.
Game ends in a 17-17 tie.
Leon
Leon picks up 200+ all purpose yards, including one return TD
Hawks pull one out at home, 17-14.
Miller is playing?
If so, I will take Cameron Morrah as my guy to get a TD and 70 yards.
Miller will be back blocking as our line gets destroyed.
Hawks lose 23 – 10
How hostile will the crowd be to me?
IM a Bengals fan and will be wearing an orange hat. i would assume they wont give me too much crap because a) the Bengals arent any kind of rival, and b) we have historically sucked.
Basically, do I need to bring a shank??
Hi fans it Brandon Roy.

If by Shank you mean Lamb Shank, please do
And remember to share.
Seattle sports hostility is mostly sarcasm
You will likely be goaded by everyone around you but leave feeling like you made some new friends. I would highly recommend ear protection as you likely wont be a willing participant in the torrent of noise and that would have to be annoying as an opposing fan.

You are infinitely more likely to have a beer purchased for you after the game
Rather than be assaulted.
sounds good
I wasn’t actually scared of being assaulted, more curious of the level of “asshole-ness” that I am about to encounter. Im expecting more raised eyebrows, as I will probably be one of 3-4 Bengals fans in the building.
Im looking forward to it,. have never been to a seahawk game. I promise if the Bengals win that I wond be the guy yelling “WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO” in the concourse after the game. those types deserve ass-whippings
Hi fans it Brandon Roy.
And ME.....LaMarcus Aldridge
You probably won't see a lot of hostility.
You’ll probably get a lot of “Hey man, you came all the way out here for the game? Bitchin!” and “wouldn’t it be awesome if one of us rooted for a good team? Oh well!” comments.
just watch
some weird cosmic law dictates that all the asshole hawk fans will come out for this one…

Charlie Whitehurst
Playing with a chip on his shoulder has a great game: 21/30, 249 yards passing, 2 TDs (1 rushing). Hawks win 20-10.
I think it's more likely that Charlie gets another chip on his shoulder
this one chops off his body from the waist up, though.

Max Unger
Because we won’t notice he is back.
Hawks make Andy Dalton look good in a 17-10 ugly Hawk loss.
Zach Miller
6 catches for 80 yds and 2 td’s
Seahawks 17-10
Some people lead a lifestyle strikingly different than your own,
Earl Thomas
- Picks a pair of Dalton passes and even takes one of them to the house. He finishes with 2 int, 8 tackles (one for loss), and a TD.
Too bad it is not enough to make up for another brutal game from clipboard “HEY-Suess”.
Hawks lose 24-20
I was just thinking how ironic it would be if
Kelly Jennings made a play on the ball for a Pick 6.
But that would require an alternate universe.

Cincy's D is better than the browns...so I expect
Bengals win 4-2 with Chuck leading the scoring by giving up 2 safeties, and Kam “Bam thank you mAm-dy Dalton” posting the only points FOR the hawks on a clean blind side sack.

ET 1 pick 1 sack
Bengals 24-7
Don't be an idiot. If an idiot would do that, then don't do it. Muahahahaaha back on twitter
I expect to see Big Red have another beastly showing.
4 tackles, 2 TFL, and 1.5 sacks.
17-10 Bengals, which will make me sad.
Eternally looking forward to someone making a Seahawks song based off of Lil' Jon's "Shots" song named "Hawks!"
BMW
6 catches, 89 yards and a touchdown.
The 12th Man also gets a game ball.
Seahawks 20, Bengals 17

Watching the Seahawks is like peeing on yourself, everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling it brings

according to Madden...
Hawks 14-6. Lynch is my pick with 87yds and a TD.
Incidentally, this game also saw Hawthorne jumping a short route for a pick, and Kam knocking AJ Green silly.
So all that too.

Well, it's also the same game that predicted a loss at NYG
but the last prediction is more impressive.
