Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

This is great news. There was absolutely no way the turf currently installed was going to get through next year alone with three teams playing there.

For those who are curious, the new surface is going to be FieldTurf's latest, the Revolution Turf. It's so new I can't find anything about it other than a press release. It's not grass, but this is a good solution at least for a few seasons.

Thank God they're doing something about it.

I don’t have any idea what they could do, but it sure felt to me like Seattle was a breeding ground for lower-body injuries.

Good to hear

New turf is always good…

Plus it’ll be nice to get a good rich green field again….was starting to look a little faded/worn

it really did...does

Guess its not as bad as the old school astroturf though…. never looked all that bad from afar, but watching some of those NFL flims where the players/coaches are going around digging up and stepping on some of the bad spots…. suprising how absolutely terrible condition the stuff was in.
