Seahawks Put Rams Out to Pasture, Win 30-13
It wasn't always a pretty game, but the team took care of business and dominated an inferior opponent. Our playoff dream is still alive, and we embarrassed a divisional rival on national television. What more could a fan ask for?
Danny and Co. will have more eloquent posts up later, but use this thread for drunken exuberance and revelry.

This is what he does though. He sucks, he is irritating, but he can probably also make awesome plays every now and then and get us to 10-6 and 9-7.

Gotta say, the penalties still worry me
Yes, a couple of the calls against Browner and Sherman were of the extremely dubious type, but the taunting call was just stupid, and cost us 4 points (probably).
I'd rather know a little about a lot than a lot about a little
Sure, if it were a one-game thing
But there seems to be 1-2 penalties per game that are more of the “what were you thinking” variety. The PIs, holds, and illegal contacts I can live with, it’s part of the deal with big physical corners, but the mental mistake penalties are more galling.
I'd rather know a little about a lot than a lot about a little
It might well
But a part of me fears that it might be something that’s just a part of the PC experience
I'd rather know a little about a lot than a lot about a little
if we win i can live with them
by Southhill Seahawk on Dec 12, 2011 10:01 PM PST via iPhone app up reply actions
That's what worries me, exactly.
Seems to me that ref’s base so much of what they do or do not call on reputation, and if the Seahawks build a reputation for playing risky/dirty than it really could bite them in the ass when it counts.
by djafrot on Dec 12, 2011 10:33 PM PST via mobile up reply actions
Most of the penalties aren't of the dirty nature.
Risky, yes, and we play with attitude and toughness but isn’t really getting flagged for the most part (Browner’s push last week and Sherman taunting etc. but not a major problem although very annoying and negative for the momentum). If we develop a grabby/illegal pass coverage label guess what they will be looking for. We need to develop a deadly pass rush so the ref’s can focus on the QB Being sacked every pass.

If we win out both of those teams are out (bears cards)
Also though highly unlikely the falcons can lose two as well (we win most tie breaks if we win out.)
In Chicago won't be "easy". They were running those screens pretty well with MB3 in there.
Still, very doable.
"The time has come," the Walrus said, "to talk of many things."
Maybe I'm just optimistic
But I feel we can take the bears, Caleb hanie has proven to be turnover prone, and we have a ball hawking secondary. They likely won’t run the ball on us, just not seeing them being a threat. The niners are a freaking fieldgoal fest every week. We give score one td they’re done. The cardinals.. Idc what they’ve been doing they’re still the cardinals, and I feel that is enough of a reason to assume a win.
