Seahawks Injury Report: Breno Giacomini, Anthony Hargrove Questionable
The Seahawks are relatively healthy, not counting the multitudes of players already on IR, as they head into their final game of the season at Arizona. Officially, right tackle Breno Giacomini is listed as questionable, and as Curtis Crabtree noted, if he's unable to play it's likely that Seahawks fans would get to see a little more of rookie Jarriel King. Also listed as questionable is DT Anthony Hargrove with a calf injury. (Also of note, it's kind of weird the NFL officially calls him "Tony", but that's neither here nor there.)
WR Ben Obomanu is probable after missing most of the week's practices, as is David Hawthorne, so they're likely to play.
It will be interesting to see how much Pete Carroll plays the guys situated lower on the depth chart - he noted in today's presser that this will be a great opportunity for a lot of players to prove they belong on this team going into next year so it seems likely that we'll see more substitution by the Hawks than usual.
Here are the rest of both teams' injury reports for Friday.
QUESTIONABLE - T Breno Giacomini (abdomen), DT Tony Hargrove (calf)
PROBABLE - CB Kennard Cox (hamstring), LB David Hawthorne (knee), QB Tarvaris Jackson (pectoral), S Jeron Johnson (illness), DT Clinton McDonald (concussion), WR Ben Obomanu (knee), LB Malcolm Smith (concussion)
OUT - T Brandon Keith (ankle)
QUESTIONABLE - S Rashad Johnson (knee), QB Kevin Kolb (head), CB Patrick Peterson (achilles), S Kerry Rhodes (ankle), RB LaRod Stephens-Howling (hamstring), RB Chris Wells (knee)
PROBABLE - CB Michael Adams (shoulder), S Sean Considine (foot)

Say huh?
It will be interesting to see how much Pete Carroll plays the youngsters and rookies
What youngsters and rookies? Pretty much our entire team is youngsters and rookies.

the younger youngsters and younger rookies???
Ok, I’ll change it to “guys lower on the depth chart.”
High school players!
I was just joking around. Me? I’d like to see some Jeron Johnson.

Hah, I know.
And players I’d like to see in action:
Ron Parker, Richardo Lockette, maybe a little Chris Maragos subbing for ET action to see how screwed we are if he gets hurt, I’m with you on J.J., possibly see what Jarriel King can do, and throw in a little Byron Maxwell in the Big Nickel. Or something.
Parker's on IR, brah.
Don’t think that Carroll wants to break a bunch of league rules, even if it is the last game of the season. ; )
Shows how much you pay attention to this team!
I think it’s time for Vasilii to take over head writing duties! ; )
That seems unlikely, though

Do you think Pete would get blasted in the media for playing the young guys for a good portion of the game?
I personally would love to see it but I can hear the accusations that we weren’t playing to win and things like that already. I really want to see Lockette, King, and Portis play.
I don't think the media pay attention to Seattle.

I don't think the local media pays attention to the Seahawks
They will be focused on Detroit and Dallas games
Watching the Seahawks is like peeing on yourself, everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling it brings

Hargrove being out might hurt.
He’s been a nice rotational pass rusher from the DT spot this season.
True , but we missed McDonald heaps.
Our only source of interior pass rush.
Don't be an idiot. If an idiot would do that, then don't do it. Muahahahaaha back on twitter
