Danny O'Neil's been steadfast in his expectation that it's Jacksonville's Carl Smith.
I wonder what the hangup is.
Watch him retire a week before the season starts.
Don’t hire old geezers to be your coaches, Carroll.

I sure pray to god that's not the case
I really do not want someone who presided over the development of Matt Leinart, Tim Couch, Brady Quinn, and Byron Leftwich, to be developing our QB of the future. Because with Carl Smith as a QB coach that QB would have no future.

This has been discussed a lot before, although not recently,
but it’s too hard to make a good judgment on a QB coach only on account of the success of their QBs. When the QBs themselves are really good in the pros, it’s mostly because they’re really good QBs, and the coach probably isn’t doing much to make them succeed.
That being said, the biggest impact if any a QB coach likely has would be in rectifying technique and mechanics issues. That could well be a considerable part of why some of those guys didn’t work out.

I was super impressed with the Chiefs last year.
I knew he wouldn’t get it but I thought Haley deserved consideration for coach of the year. The last new coach I was this impressed with was McCarthy, who IMO may rival Belichick as best game coach in the league.
The Chiefs have some good looking talent. I guess I’d call them my early dark horse.

The only way the Chiefs passing game gets better is if they
Shoot Matt Cassel. He’s incredibly overrated and they just lost Charlie Weis as the OC. Zorn might be a damn fine QB coach but he can’t make up for the change in coordinators.
I am a visionary, I am a genius, and now I am angry! Now help me find my pants!
I have a plan, and it's so cunning you can brush your teeth with it!

27 TDs against only 8 turnovers doesn't suck.
Yeah, he had a lot of help winning games with the running attack, but that’s still a great ratio.
I'm glad that Zorn is back in his element as QB coach.
Dan Snyder unfairly threw him to the wolves by naming him O-coordinator, then making him head coach when he couldn’t find anyone else.
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
