Hopefully Stanback can stay healthy long enough to get a fair shot

Maybe he could channel his inner Antwaan Randle El on some gadget plays for us.

Gadget or not...

I’d love to see him get a full opportunity….such a great athlete and physically dominant. Plus we were hearing so many great things about him and how he’s improved and looked sharp before he went down with injury.

Not saying he’ll be a #1 but if he’s healthy and has actually improved on his route running and hands and being confident and dominant in blocking out DB’s and Jump Balls etc….he could be an awesome option to have

Especially when you consider #1/2/3/4 Williams,Tate, Butler, Obomanu (not in that order) ….that means our #4 or #5 (if he is improved and warrants the spot) would be a monster of a WR….imagine those mismatches with him going against nick, dime, quarter DB’s….he’d slaughter them all day

assuming health

I like both of these moves, they are good special teams guys who can contribute if needed in a pinch.

What is going on with Stanback???

He’s a great athlete but my god if you cant protect your body & stay on the field what the F good are you ?

Lewis brings great energy to the special teams and has made some good plays on receivers...

I think Lewis is actually a good corner I don’t see why there are knocks on him all the time, he’s not elite and not starter caliber but he goes full tilt all the time.

"I was 11 or 12 and Quinton was like 30. He was the only dude on the Pop Warner team who had a full mustache and a beard. And he used to drive to Pop Warner games. You're not supposed to be doing that. It was crazy." -Marshawn Lynch

Roy Lewis?

Aren’t they talking about Roy Lewis not Ray, Roy went to UW and played for us last year. He was also our Special Teams captain.

Minor Typo?

Pretty significant typo

To repeatedly make.

Fanhouse = Terrible.

Agreed on Fanhouse being terrible

Mistakes like that seem to happen way too often for them. Maybe it’s just John Hickey rushing things.

Last one I remember oh his wasn’t as significant, but it was his story on us re-signing Barrett Moen.

He gave Moen credit for being a four-year starter at Minnesota, which is completely untrue seeing as how he was a walk-on who redshirted and then didn’t play at all his RS Freshman year.

I don’t think he was ever a starter until his senior year. -———> Bio

As a lifelong Seattle area resident and sometimes delusional homer

I love this move. Not that anything moved at all but re-signing promising home town guys who seem that they can contribute and haven’t gotten a real shot is awesome. Hopefully Stanback makes it through camp and contributes. Lewis is a gamer and leader ‘specially for special teams. I wish this CBA crap was settled so I could go full bore into I can’t wait for the season mode. Everytime I start getting excited about something football related I get my balloon popped when I think about the labor situation and go from giddy to pissed and anxious in a heartbeat.

Apparently four straight days of talks have gone great.

It’s a lot more progress than having one party storm off the table after a couple hours. Fingers crossed.

Lewis is a ST ace and useful dimeback, so I'm glad he's back.

Stanback could be intriguing if he stays healthy and has figured out how to run routes in the years after leaving UW.

Works For Me

Good depth and ST from ROY Lewis and anything we get from Stanbeck is just bonus.

Beer, its not just for breakfast anymore.
