For some reason I'm not buying it...
This is where stats fail me. They don’t actually watch the games like we do.
Locklear seems to get worked a lot throughout the recent games I’ve watched him in. Also, it’s not the best sign when your number is given to an unproven rookie before he even sees the field.
I say there’s about a 1% chance he’s with us again next year.
Ka-Kaaa!
They do watch the games
That’s how the generate these sorts of stats.

Go Niners go!
He’s amazing! Sign him immediately after the lockout is lifted!
Offseason 2011: Kelly Jennings, Craig Terrill, and Matt Hasselbeck...good riddance.
Shut up about Andrew Luck already.

This is a complete junk stat and no one should waste their time with it.
There are good stats out there and there are stats that are absolutely meaningless. This is the latter.
How exactly?
They chart the sacks/hits/hurries (weighting hits and hurries slightly less than sacks) and divide this by the number of snaps in pass pro. What you end up with is a (weighted) percentage likelihood that the blocker will give up pressure on a given pass pro snap.
You can argue all you want about charting the plays but there’s not much to really hate about the relatively basic stats.

It is easy to not give up sacks and QB hits at RT
just hold every single freaking play.
