First of all, yes, I am a lifelong Broncos fan, but I've always thought the Seahawks were a cool team, even as AFC West rivals when I was a little kid.

The Seahawks, with those gray helmets and blue unis were instantaneously cooler than scumbags like the Faiders (Raiders), Queefs (Chiefs) and Dolts (Chargers) could ever hope to be.

With that said,  as a communication graduate from the prestigious Southern Utah University, I did not communicate well with you on the Sidney Rice thread posted Wednesday evening.

I think Sidney Rice is an excellent pickup, he and Mike Williams together, as well as Golden Tate will be outstanding!

I'm still not sure letting Matt Hasselbeck go was wise, but Charlie Whitehurst has a chance to be really good.

I apologize to anyone who thought I was taking potshots at the Seahawks and if Matt Hasselbeck goes belly up at Nashville, Tenn., I will look really foolish.

Of course, I am only a fan and not a GM, so my opinion is worth about as much as what I'm paid to write SB Nation articles, nothing.

Once again, I apologize if anyone thought I was taking Seahawk potshots.
