Gregg Williams to become St Louis Rams DC
Wonderful news for us, since Williams is a terrible overrated coordinator, and very easy to scheme against. Worst is they're also looking to add terrible OC Brian Schottenheimer. That's some staff they're collecting.

Basically, start throwing more screen passes.
Eternally looking forward to someone making a Seahawks song based off of Lil' Jon's "Shots" song named "Hawks!"

Completely irrational immediate reaction for me goes something like this:
Gregg Williams → Saints D → Alex Smith yesterday = Seahawks Profit

Bettet yet:
Gregg Williams —> Saints D —> BEAST MODE —> Matt’s Best Game Since 2007 —> Playoffs Last Year = Seahawks Profit

That's true, he did. I didn't notice that.
The real arrows look way cooler.

Well at least you have a real equal sign
So it’s not so bad.

The Rams
Don’t have the personnel to be as aggressive as Williams likes to be. I would expect them to try to be very busy in FA & the draft in an attempt to solve their secondary and linebacker issues. Overall, I think this is a very bad fit for them that reeks of a “name hire”. Seems pretty obvious to me that Kroenke in running this franchise into the ground in an effort to move to LA.
...and if a frog had wings, it wouldn't bump it's ass when it hopped.
I heard that moving to LA was the reason Fisher took the job.
It was just from some random guy at the bar, but it makes sense, Fisher is a California guy, and its not like there are a ton of other reasons to take the rams job.
GET OFF ME!
I have a suspicion that Williams took this job
Because he was going to lose the one he had.
Call me sentimental but I want to go back
And commemorate the place with a historical plaque
He wasn't under contract anymore, I think
But it was pretty clear they had little interest to extend him after the defense declined in 2010 and 2011. He’s just not very good.

His contract was up, and a reunion with Fish was expected.
New rumor is Spags to the Saints.

That'd be a good move
Rams lacked talent but that Dline looked extremely well-coached/schemed.

Fisher is a defensive guy, right?
Maybe he’ll be able to reel in Williams a bit, his major issue is just being overly aggressive.
Great quote from Turf Show Times on the Gregg Williams hiring...
yeah, but saints aren’t known for their D so it’s like hiring a vegan to be a grillmaster at a steak house
But outside of this it seems most are happy with this. IMO, it’s really easy to blitz when you’re winning, might not be the same with the Rams are down by two TDs.

Kind of a terrible analogy, but I guess if it makes them feel better...
Saints “aren’t known for their D”, but a good defensive coordinator should be expected to change that, right?
A better analogy would be:
Saints aren’t known for their defense, so it’s like hiring the dude that crashed that Italian oceanliner to drive you and your family around Lake Union in a speedboat.
Although wikipedia technically excludes cruise ships from the definition of "ocean liner"
I didn’t set out to be pedantic, really. :)

"The time has come," the Walrus said, "to talk of many things."
Wikipedia is straight up wrong, though.
Ocean liner referred to long-haul passenger ships when people still rode boats across the Atlantic, but the term absolutely applies to cruise ships as of the 1970s.
From your own link:
However, the difference between ocean liners and cruise ships has blurred, beginning at the advent of the Jet Age where transoceanic ship service declined.
Wait, the Jet Age is upon us!?
When did this happen?
"The time has come," the Walrus said, "to talk of many things."
When Sanchez was drafted.
Let us pray.

Rams will interview Hue Jackson for OC
A few hours ago it was reported that “Little Schott” was a done deal.
http://www.turfshowtimes.com/2012/1/16/2712645/hue-jackson-oakland-raiders-st-louis-rams
He failed as a HC, but it’s not like the Raiders were inept on offense.

It will be awsome when the rams trade their first two picks for Carson Palmer.

Greg Williams. Ha!
Just another one of those guys who got more credit than he deserved after their team went to (and in the Saints’ case, won) the Super Bowl. He’s average, at best.
