Peyton Manning retiring, according to Rob Lowe (of course).
So far, no other reputable NFL source has confirmed this rumor, but.....I'm going to go with Rob with this one. Parks & Recreation is a funny show. That's enough of a confirmation for me!

Haha, wow, now that's a breaking news source
That said, even though I don’t want him for us, that would be terrible news for us.

Yup, now one more team is in competition for the QB that Pete Carroll may or may not be planning to draft.
Next thing you know, Matt Flynn will re-sign with the Packers!
"Whitney" star Whitney Cummings is reporting that Tarvaris Jackson is as accurate as her show is funny.
And every sports reporter in the country prays he's wrong
and they didn’t get scooped by St. Elmo’s Fire.
70% of space is covered by dark matter, the rest by ET.
This is Lowe's revenge on that guy who made that awful "Tim Tebow's Fire" video.
I’m not even going to link to it; the guy just changes two words in the song. Fuck that.

@richeisen My people are saying Manning will retire today. What do you hear? #NFL
Hilarious.

Believe it or not, a sitcom star may not be the most reliable source for this kind of story.
Shocking, I know; according to Jason LaCanfora, Peyton’s agent Tom Condon has not heard anything about Peyton retiring. That’s not a denial, though, so that’s an invitation to let the wild speculation continue.
Manning will retire this year, but come out of retirement in 2013 to start for the Vikings. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!
Then later, move to the Jets replacing Sanchez.
I’ve never seen Peyton as a picture messaging kind of guy.
