Completely unsurprising we've got the Ravens and Patriots in the AFC Championship game this year. Who you got winning this one?

Go Ravens?

Oh, and F CBS for all of them picking the Giants. Exactly like the numerous pundits on ESPN who had Carolina over Seattle.

Surprisingly, that's not the moment I remember

I remember Seneca catching that fade in the 1st quarter. That’s the best memory I have of that game.

I think Flacco with have one of those “What the fuck just happened?” games and Brady will spend a lot of time on the ground.

Also, seeing that San Diego fired Manusky after one year

It’s pretty obvious the Niners were a playoff team held back by the worst coaching staff ever assembled commensurate with the talent.

Most people really have no idea how to cook it and/or have only eaten it from someone who doesn’t know how to cook it.

True.

I got caught on semantics again. DAMN YOU INTERNET!

by The Cheese on Jan 22, 2012 1:14 PM PST up reply actions

I take your point, and it's possible I get slightly defensive about tofu, the miracle food.

Most of the soy fake meats are not tofu, even though they are also made, as I understand it, entirely from tofu. It’s confusing.

But part of the problem, I think, is that there are foods that on their own are really tasty, but people don’t give them a chance because they are meant to “replace” meats. Such a person might only be thinking, “this does not taste like chicken”, and that’s a barrier to enjoying a healthy, tasty and sustainable food.

Sorry for the rant.

I will concede, however, that face cheese is completely foul. It’s the only food that cannot be substituted.

Not that I don’t think that’s enough to win, but we should keep an eye on it.

One thing worth mentioning too: I think it demoralizes anyone who is interested in trying to multi-vote their way to a win with it. I know you and I both must have voted for it 100+ times each so it would take a significant effort to have someone else do that too. We just need to mobilize for the next round and have 10-15 folks doing that and guarantee a win.

The Pats could go into the playoffs with the worst D in the NFL, and win it all because they faced a progression of Tebow, Flacco, and Smith.

Why was that all so hurried?

Stop the clock with a timeout with 2 seconds left. Poor kicker. That sucks.

The kicker barely had time to set up and the ball was snapped.

Why they didn’t stop the clock is absolutely beyond me.

They should have won.

They blew it. Dropped TD pass, bad play call and missed kick.

all on three plays in a row and Dreamboat waltzes into the Super bowl by doing nothing.
