A couple 49er fans*
Every fanbase has a few (loud) people* that do this kind of thing all the time. It’s sad, really.
*I’m using the term people loosely.
Do you know what's unique about 49er fans?
Absolutely nothing. Let’s call it a day with this shit.

And there ya go.
CELEBRATE, REJOICE, CAROUSE AROUND, JUBILATE CITIZENS OF FIELD GULLS! OUR HATED ENEMY HAS FALLEN TO ELI MANNING!

I’m a mean person, I bet, because I chuckled at this. This person must’ve really been down. Bet he was debating whether to jump off a bridge wearing a vandalized Niners jersey, too.

This goes beyond fandom to any specific team
and is disgusting. It’s got to be a violation of Twitter’s TOS… I hope they’re passing out IP or MAC bans.

Every fanbase has ridiculous idiots among its numbers
We wouldn’t them to judge us by the biggest idiots that lay claim to Seahawk fandom, we shouldn’t pretend that people like these are representative of the fanbase as a whole.

It really is representative
I lived in SF and I’ve been to Candlestick a ton of times, and 49er fans are some of the most out of control people I’ve ever seen.
I think the stadium experience is where the difference is.
Every fan base has idiots that tweet death threats, but not every fan base needs under cover cops in the stands.

What he said.
The majority are pretty bad actually. I was threatened to be beat up, stabbed, etc. several times in the 3 games I’ve gone to at Cadlestick. While minding my business and sitting there…Oh, and don’t forget the bottle that was thrown at my sister.
Ka-Kaaa!
The DMV in SF...
Is where you go when you pass away and have been a bad person on Earth.
I feel like I’m being punished by a greater being when I have to go there..
Ka-Kaaa!
I dunno, I've never been to the Clink for a regular season game.
I’ve seen fans here describe their bad experiences there. I still find it too easy to dismiss the entire fanbase on incidental evidence.

I went there in '05 during the home Niners game
Pretty amicable, Niners fan was interacting fairly amusingly with Hawks fans, jokes flying back and forth and whatnot. Granted, he knew they had no chance at all against Seneca Wallace in the 4th quarter Matt Hasselbeck and Shaun Alexander.

I haven't seen opposing fans have problems.
The opposing fans I’ve come across certainly don’t seem to be afraid, most of them are standing and cheering their team on like everyone else. But I’m also in club seats.
How people describe it online and how one might personally witness how it unfolds can be pretty different.
I’ve read some not-too-cool accounts of visitors at what was Qwest. I’ve seen some treatment of visitor fans at Qwest, stuff I’d never do myself, but stuff I’d expect were I a visiting fan, and I wish that stuff didn’t happen, but I get the sense that it may be among the most mild for pro football.
Then there’s the reputation and accounts I’ve read at a handful of places that sound pretty intimidating. SF among them. On a macro level, the difference may seem indistinguishable, but on a practical level there is probably a fair amount of variance. Probably somewhere like Jacksonville or Indianapolis is pie when it comes to hazing, but places like Boston, SF, Philly are a bit intimidating to me. I am (again!) planning my first away game, this time targeting Miami, and each of the past 3 years I’ve planned but not gone, anticipated treatment by other fans is a part of the consideration.
Head of catering.

Most teams do.
Particularly in light of the NFL’s blackout policy, stadium security needs to be a priority starting next year.
"The time has come," the Walrus said, "to talk of many things."
On top of all that
Javier Pasquel used the wrong “your”, didn’t use a semicolon after “die”, and didn’t put a period. Terrible.
