Was it Gore or Forte who dropped out?

Why get Matt Flynn?

Something about an illness.

Hangover from losing the NFC. Can’t blame him though…

God forbid we should have contention.

Were there comments deleted from the Browner discussion that I didn't catch?

Because the whole thing, even the grumbling against Beekers, didn’t seem all that bad to me.

Head of catering.

I don't see any hidden posts

And we usually don’t delete.

Sarcasm fail.

Or…were you responding to my comment as a sarcastic one? And were you sarcastic too So confused… The last thread like this just made me a little grumpy so I apologize for that.

Browner was questionable.

Marshawn had a pretty darn good year, and I think he should have been in above Gore. But winning the NFCW would have put him over Gore anyway.

Gore had the better year

Lynch should’ve made it over Turner

Or Forte.

Forte is probably the only reason Chicago isn't drafting in the top 5

Before the knee injury it was deserved. PB voting and rosters were announced two weeks after, I think.

I argue that first part.

I argued it once, a long while ago, somewhere likely at seahawks.net.

Look at the stats, and see what you think, because I’ve now forgotten if I actually had a case.

by WestCoastBias. on Jan 24, 2012 9:05 PM PST up reply actions

I'm definitely biaised in my opinion that Marshawn was the better back.

I was so used to seeing a Julius Jones/Morris run that once Lynch got going I sort of lost my ability to judge what he brings fairly.

Dunno why we would

Right when pro bowl voting happened, I think the only ones that had big question marks were Brandon Browner as 1st alternate and Ryan pushed down all the way to 3rd (which really…what?!)

Ryan doesn't get nearly enough love.

BEEF MOE

This is well deserved. Thomas deserves it. MROB, eh not sure but I’m not complaining. Browner, I get why you all complained, but this guy will be good. I’ve been routing for him since last January when he got futures contract. He will be a stud once he learns the system. BAM BAM, gotta love this kid. Hits like a semi and has shown pretty good instincts. This will be a pro bowl that I sort of want to watch.

I think I'll watch it

only because 5 Hawks are in it.

This is good recognition for a guy who clearly decided to step up his game.

I’ve rarely seen such improvement out of a running back, so quickly.

I have a quandary

I have a Skittles machine at work, but no more quarters for it, do you guys know any stud tailbacks who are addicted to Skittles that have a lot of change, thanks :)

Have fun watching the Pro Bowl

it’s the one NFL game I never watch, perhaps I’ll read a book, one that isn’t even about football!

Heh, we haven't had this many Seahawks go to the Pro Bowl in goodness knows how long.

It’ll be fun for Southern Alaska to get a little attention on the media machine for the day. I’m also hoping that QBs next year quail in fear at our improved secondary (they won’t, they won’t, I know…I can hope right?)

I don't remember the exact number in 05.

Something like 11, or something.

Think so? I don't think he should.

He’s a rare thing, and if there were rare hybrid recognition slots on the roster, I could endorse it. Allen, Peppers, et al (with Clemons not too far behind) are a big cut above Red. And if we wanted to send run-stuffing hard workers who generate or assist in late-developing pressure consistently to Hawaii, we’d send Justin Smith first, right?

Oh, I just checked and he’s already there, but you get my point.

Head of catering.

What you say makes complete sense, but my heart says he deserves it.

I was just pointing out that at least where the Seahawks are concerned, the selections are actually pretty damn inclusive. Which is fucking incredible.

Sherman should be in

fewer INTs than Browner, though Browner had more starts, but he was more efficient even though he was targeted more often

by WUWU on Jan 24, 2012 5:33 PM PST via mobile reply actions

Lynch will be thinking about that new contract

Could be a good show. And bringing his lead blocker with shouldn’t hurt.

Didn't we have Julius Jones & TJ Duckett 2 years ago?

Can’t even remember who our FB between Weaver and Robinson was…What a difference a good coach/GM can make.

No big deal, just our RUN GAME representing the whole goddam NFC. Love it.

Ka-Kaaa!

Ye olde Justin Griffith!

Leading receiver against the Detroit Lions in 09 I believe – the day Matt broke some franchise and personal records. That was like, worse than the 2010 Rams dink’n’dunk to victory offense.

established, good work ethic, clearly high floor, clearly low ceiling.

Good for Marshawn & MikeRob

And Marshawn and Aaron Rodgers on the same team again.
I still remember Cal’s 2004 Rose Bowl snub.
