Yeah I've been forwarding that around a bit today.
That is a hell of an attitude. Ray should go into Canton the day he retires.
"The time has come," the Walrus said, "to talk of many things."
Ray Lewis is my favorite non-Seahawk
I know a lot of people think his pre-game antics are foolish and others refuse to see him as anything more than a thug who skated past charges relating to that attack in the club that one night, but Hall-of-Famer Rod Woodson called him the greatest leader of men he’d ever known and everything I’ve heard about him from teammates and opponents seems to back that notion up.
It takes a true man to stand in front of a bunch of broken hearts and urge not only a renewal of commitment, but perspective as well. He’s the best, most influential defensive player I’ve ever watched.
I've got ridiculous upside.

No kidding
He’s the whole package. Great player, inspirational leader. One of the best of all time.

Bummer.
“Ray Lewis Postgame…”
This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by National Football League.
Sorry about that.

I missed it too, but I guess this is a transcript?
NFL sucks ass, pulling a speech like this back into their walled garden. Giving NFL Films exclusivity to edit into their own productions at their own discretion, where a fraction of us may see it in another context as early as next fall, if ever? It’s not game film, jackasses.
Head of catering.

There aren't any new speeches under the sun.
Sports are a cliche. Oratory is cliche. It’s all in how it’s done.
"The time has come," the Walrus said, "to talk of many things."
No no no
I didn’t mean the speech was cliched, or anything derogatory at all. Just that a character like Ray Lewis belongs in a football movie. Everything about him is too awesome to be real.
Yip
I totally felt like I was listening to some script from a play or film, and he just rattles it off. Really good.

Been trying to find the Kris Jenkins speech from a few years ago, after a loss.
It was also fantastic. Like Brando doing Aurelius.
