Cotton Bowl Game Thread

The Kansas State Wildcats take on the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Cotton Bowl tonight at Cowboys Stadium, and there are some intriguing players to scout in this one, most notably Arkansas QB Tyler Wilson. Wilson, 6'3, 220, has 'plus' accuracy and some mobility so again, may fit the profile as a Seahawks' quarterback prospect. He hasn't decided whether to go pro or stay in school, but tonight's game might be a good indicator of which direction he leans.

He might try to take advantage of the weak draft class and go pro.

That’s probably why the ASU guy went Pro too. Guys like Jones and Barkley can play their way into the top 5 next year.

I got really bored and stupid with OpenOffice and created a Bevell red zone playchart.

I’m sure I can find a way to refine it but if he stays another year I’ll improve upon it. I just did random highlighting of things like I’ve seen in actual playbooks.

We basically banned Miller from the middle of the field

He’s only ever allowed 5 yard passes unless he’s wide open like in the Eagles game and the game is already up.

Anyone else think that if we don’t take a QB in the first two rounds he might be a worthwhile target in the later rounds? Gotta love that height, but he’ll be a bit of a project…
