Alabama will win

I don’t care. If both teams end up as champions after the final polls I give up on college football for good.

BCS has been fun but otherwise this is the least interesting college football season I’ve ever watched, and a lot of it has to do with the freakin SEC.

I am boycotting the game

Shouldn’t be these two teams and I won’t reward them with my viewership. The SEC is overrated and Alabama lost its only really tough game of the year.
This game will again be the opposite of the Alamo Bowl and won’t tell us anything that we don’t already know.
The BCS is a farce.

Oklahoma State would get shitwrecked by LSU or Alabama

But even then I think OSU should’ve gotten in just so we can see something different.

Thats the problem

We don’t know and never will, cause not only didn’t that happen, but the LSU was one of the few SEC teams that played a real team out of conference and Oregon played terrible. We only know how the SEC plays against the SEC. Everyone assumes they are great.

Boise St. probably matches up best against SEC teams

compared to the rest of the top ten. But they can’t kick their way out of a paper bag for two years running.

I'm enjoying the game.

Every first down gained feels likes points scored and so many draft prospects on these defenses. Brockers and Mingo have been impressive.

He was the top dual-threat prep QB

in the same class as Gabbert and Andrew Luck. There was a good bit of hype around that high school QB class period.

He’s toolsy as hell but truth be told he isn’t any better today than he was when he started at LSU.

True, but it's deeper than that with SEC football

Working down here for nine years now, but grew up on football in the Midwest and West. There’s just a level of mythmaking with football that there isn’t other places.

SEC supremacy is waaaaayyyy exaggerated, but there fans really are more passionate than anyone else’s. That makes for compelling television, ready-for-TV narratives. The most fascinating part is how the mythmaking helps SEC losses and poor performances go right down the memory hole. Like they never happened.

I've felt for a long time that both teams were overrated in pass rush

Athletic guys without much in the way of moves. (I don’t think it’s any coincidence that LSU has hyped defensive linemen seemingly every year, and rarely do those guys do much—at least in terms of pass rush—in the NFL.)

Absolute douchebags. Don’t say I’m making a late payment on the very day my payment is due, and then say that the zip code where I live (and stored in their system) isn’t valid when I set up an online account.
