I owe you an apology. For the last few months I have been doubting your readiness to be the starting quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks. I saw the way our defense was shutting down the other team and the way Marshawn was running over them and yet our record did not reflect the way I felt about the quality of our team. I felt that you were holding the team back. I was too impatient and too thick-skulled to know any better.

It is obvious to me now that you are the man who was promised to us. You, Russell Wilson, are the starting quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks and you have my unwavering support. I know that there will be tough games ahead and you won't be perfect on every play, but I'm okay with that now. I have made peace. I have seen where you are going and I want to go with you to that glorious place.
