Tom Brady was only a piece to the Dynasty-puzzle for us. It was a great Defense that made it possible.
But I can't really stop there. Belichick had some questionable decisions and management Sunday afternoon, but he is good at taking away the things an Offense loves. Minus those 3 huge throws by the rookie Russell Wilson and the Seahawks would have approximately 150 passing yards to go with a paltry go at the run-game. Belichick had his D take away the short-passes and the run-game for the most part, and the results speak for themselves. Belichick dared Russell Wilson to beat the Pats by throwing it deep and he did exactly that on three occasions, showing the kind of progress that we had only seen glimpses of previously. He's not just lucky to have only been sacked twice, he was only sacked twice because he demonstrated the athletic ability to avoid the rush best depicted by his ability to escape sure-tackler Jerod Mayo.
It was a tough-defeat for my Pats made possible by a hard-fought effort, which was undoubtedly fueled by a raucous fan-base. Keep it up guys, and who knows, maybe we'll see each other again sooner than later. Best of luck the rest of the way.
