GREAT!!! The feedback Pod is gone! Is this where we wanted to leave it? How can we make the new and improved SB NATION, the better and simpler Field Gulls in spite of the changes?

There have been many technical, visual and presentation suggestions by the FG minions, most I don't understand (non techie in the room), but I'm sure they would make the FG experience better. But it is visually better and more comfortable to view in most areas, not all, but some. Danny has done an amazing job considering all the horseshit he has had to go thru, for all of us. It’s never about you man and it never will be. Many, many, recs to you and your high quality staff of….Oh, you don’t have a lot of staff? Okay then many Thanks to the…Oh, No Shit!??! You don’t have ANY staff? As in None, at all? You are the staff... well... like I said much appreciation to you! Seriously!!! (“Tyler, I thought you said, he probably has dozens of people working for him!”)

It seems clear to me that SB NATION wants to be more involved at the local level site, and to draw the reader onto the national site page. I really haven't been that interested in the national stories or anything that doesn't involve the local site and community. There also seems to be a need to drive people to cross connects with all the social sites. They seem to want everyone to have their FB-TWR-YUTB nameplate on your signature every time you comment. Am I wrong in that?

Take a look at the SB NATION United video and their comments on what they are trying to do. By the way I love this comment: “We're going to be working hard behind the scenes to be constantly improving it. So if you notice anything amiss or have suggestions for improvement, please email support@sbnation.com.” Anything amiss? I believe their survival depends on this input and real business reasons of course.

They have to pay the bills around here, we all know that. Maybe we are all looking at this in the wrong way, how do we, help them sell ad space while keeping the content to the concise specific approach that is easy, comfortable and logical to locate for us. Maybe the best way is to embrace it as a new site that we want to improve upon. Make it into, say, something more like the old one, but better, much better, for us. Yeah that's it. I’m just throwing this out there. Embrace the noise, Baby! For the times they are a changin....
