So Mr. Carroll, we meet again..
Coach Carroll and the infamous Seahawk stadium play host to his old team and the defending-champions of the AFC. I'm sure he'll be plenty fired-up, and why not?
Who will win;
The unstoppable Offense(ranked 1st per SI) or the immoveable Defense(ranked 2nd)?
The moveable Defense(ranked 17th) or the stoppable Offense(ranked 28th)?
Even if those rankings mean a whole lot on any given Sunday, surely whatever advantage it means for the Patriots must be tempered by the amazing home-field advantage that the Seahawks have all the way on the other side of the country in the loudest stadium in the country. I've long had this penciled in as one of the tougher games on the Patriots schedule, right up there with hosting the 49ers and Texans later in the season.
Heading into the Wednesday-Friday practices, there is a lot to keep an eye on. Is TE/WR Aaron Hernandez returning? LB Dont'a Hightower? FS Steve Gregory? Perhaps most important of all though is the status of the Pats Right-Tackle Sebastien Vollmer, graded by Pro Football Focus as the best RT in the league thus far in the seasonb. Vollmer apparently suffered some kind of injury on Sunday but it didn't appear to be anything too severe. We'll see.
I usually do keys for the game in these posts but I really want to see what the injury/practice reports reveal and still got to watch some film. In the meantime, please pepper the comment section with questions/cheerleader-pictures.
