Yeah, I know you guys are probably gonna kill me for this, but I can't shake the idea of a big tall long armed linebacker combination of K J Wright, Bruce Irvin and Mike Morgan. I could see it working as a full time D for pass primary sets. Two minute drill stuff or situational. I know the speed and savvy of Wagner would be missed but the advantage of height and long arms would have to help in the middle. I see it as Bruce left, K J middle and Mike right with Red staying in and Jason Jones in for Branch. If we truly do have to go without Sherm and Brandon it might be a way to add additional distraction on the line. The 3 linebackers could switch out positions to mix things up. Red might need to be spelled for the increased plays once in a while. But I think they could surprise.

Other good defensive teams do it for blitzs and you know that Pete is trying different things to solve the weaknesses demonstrated by SF and NE in the defense. Just a crazy idea.....maybe....go ahead tell me why it won't work, I know you will. I can take it. It's Thursday and well it isn't Sunday yet.
