On the playoff calculators, the Bills' AFC connections make this the least important of the 3 remaining for the Seahawks, all things being equal. But all things are not equal.
9-7 is unlikely to make the playoffs in the NFC. Too many teams have a shot to pass the Seahawks at 9-7. 10-6, on the other hand, would be a near lock. So that means the Hawks need 2 out of 3.
The Bills are the weakest of the 3 squads the Seahawks have left to play. If they lay an egg on the road, like they did in Miami, the pressure will be on to sweep the last two, against division rivals who will be pumped and jacked to beat us again. If they take care of business against an inferior team, then they have momentum against the 9ers and Rams, and the ability to let a bad bounce, bad call, or strange set of circumstances happen without killing the season.
This is huge.
