I was sitting at home watching some sappy Christmas movie last night when I realized what the best part about the last two weeks has been. No, it isn't the fact that we scored 108 points (holy crap guys, 108 points in two games!) and it wasn't the fact that we are getting national media attention (who cares for what, we are being talked about!.)
The best part is that we finally beat up on bad football teams. For the past three years we have constantly been playing down to (or up to) the level of our opponent. Remember the Browns game? Even earlier in the season we typically played to our opponents level which is evidenced by losing both the Lions and the Rams game.
We are finally playing to the level which our team is capable of regardless of the opponent. This is huge guys. This is the difference between a good team and a Superbowl-caliber team.
