THE John Morgan will be here?
Whu-oh!
It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong. I am NOT a big man.
Is today the day Eli finally passes Cooper Manning
as third best QB in the Manning family?

I'm pushing for the Pats.
I like Welker and would like to see him get a ring.
I always liked Patrick Chung
He was the anchor of the Duck D with TJ Ward and WT3 out there. It was a nice defense

I wouldn't mind Branch getting some nice yardage.
It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong. I am NOT a big man.
Is there any doubt that if the Saints could stop Alex Smith
That we’d be watching a Pats/Saints Super Bowl?

Or if Kyle Williams could not fumble twice,
or if the Ravens receiver could hold onto the ball,
so many ors.

Anybody have a stream that will work overseas?
they took turns pissing into the bitch's ocular cavities.
This way to the cafeteria!
I was actually really really really hoping for a Packers/Patriots Super Bowl.
Defense optional. It would have been awesome. Most points and most yards gained EVER. Period. In a professional game that is.
Long suffering, committed Seahawks/Packers fan
As would New Orleans,
and possibly the Niners. I’m not so sure the Giants won’t kill em’ either.

Giants offense is pretty good
Not a high powered offense, but nonetheless, the Pats D isn’t exactly strong.

It was just intense, and it was ball, and it was juice. The juice level in that room was high, and it was awesome.
Thanks, dude.
I was kinda hoping someone would make fun of me since we ain’t playing, but I’ll take the HAWKS! love.

Well,
I haven’t decided if I’m rooting for the Giants or the meteor. I’m leaning towards the meteor because, well, the game is in Indy. Trifecta opportunities are rare.

Basically....
It’s Brady +belichick= go giants. Believe it or not defense will be the key. Who can stop the other one the most times? Everyone knows these are potent offenses and I think the giants have a better chance of stopping the patriots.

That's what we get for having a Super Bowl in freakin' Indianapolis.
It’d be a million times cooler if fans were wearing Lil’ Sebastian black armbands.
Patriots didn't beat a team with a winning record at the time all season,
then got a bye week, and then another bye week with Tebow, and then barely squeaked by Flacco in a game they should have lost.
Giants should win by 20

Thinking that Eli Manning is an elite QB makes me root for the Pats.
He does have a chance to prove me wrong today, though.
Yeah he needs to prove that he is an elite level
I think MVP of the game would help.
It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong. I am NOT a big man.
It was hardly a dominating effort.
It was a close, low-scoring game; he deserved the MVP but his performance wasn’t terribly memorable.
I think people need to lay off Eli
Dude has played very well this year and it also helps his receivers are awesome.

The WR's and TE's make a QB look better than they actually may be
But you still have to get the ball to the right place, and make the correct reads. I think he’s generally pretty darn good about that.
It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong. I am NOT a big man.
He's been wildly inconsistent his entire careeer, though.
He put things all together only twice; both years the Giants made the Super Bowl. Unless he blows aya the Pats today, he isn’t an elite QB.

It’s very difficult to make the product worth the effort…especially if the product sucks (and you need a Super Bowl ad to sell it).
You would think with the amount of money needed to show a commercial that you would try harder
But maybe since all the money is used to get it shown, they decided not to put out a good commercial

We need some ACL technology to fix them faster or something
I am sure we have made strides in that area, but damn if those injuries aren’t killers.
ACL medicine has made some amazing advances recently.
15 years ago it was a career-ender. Carson Palmer was back on the field 8 months after that infamous playoff hit.
A tight end might be able to come back from this injury by next season.
It’s hell on RBs and WRs (and defensive backs) because of how much they pivot on their knees to avoid defenders. That’s why it takes them so long to get back to 100%.

At the very least, TPM3D will answer if post-production 3D will ever look good.
If Lucasfilm and ILM can’t make it work, no one can.
I'm mostly talking from a technical perspective.
Post process 3D has always looked bad and to this point the only way to make it not completely suck is to film with 3D cameras.
Lucasfilm and ILM are the only people who have a chance at making post-process not look like weird cardboard cutouts.
Even if they pull it off, I'm not happy about the trend.
3D only works if you have it planned from pre-production onwards, and have a consistent vision for the technique. Avatar and Coraline had this mindset, and both movies benefited from the 3D experience.
Trend was already in place and even without Star Wars going 3D, it's not going away anytime soon.
Might as well hope ILM can come up with a process to make it not look like ass.
At this point, I just want to focus on the positive.
Like the unedited OT, and the amazing Tartakovsky miniseries.
I've got my ill-gotten laserdisc rip of the OT, I'm happy.
Hell, there’s some decent expanded universe stuff too.
They're trying to squeeze as much as possible out of Star Wars

Lots of people are waiting for the ipad 3 and alot are just waiting for the ipad 2 price drop.
Or maybe
They’ll come back with the Apple Newton 2.

I want to watch the Super Bowl on BBC
Commercial-free channel

You get the tickets to England
There is a way to listen to their British pbp guys.

TV licenses
You have to pay to have a TV in England. Like, more than just for the TV.

Not exactly
It would be like having to pay for ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX as well as your cable package.

Key word is "having"
It’s not an option if you own a TV to pay the fee for BBC.

NBC ought to throw a hundred grand to each player who gets hurt.
Pocket lint, compared to what that `earns’ `em.
Got to give credit
Pats D has played more than well enough to win. Bend but not break.

It looks like the Pats might ice it right here.

I'm still trying to figure out who would win SB MVP from each team.
No clear winner(s). Nicks for NY, maybe.
...
Could be Woodhead as well
I just don’t want Brady to win it. He has done nothing but throw 5 yard passes to open receivers.
exactly
It was just intense, and it was ball, and it was juice. The juice level in that room was high, and it was awesome.
So there's Manningham
working the sideline again.

Unless of course there is an actual helmet-catch

Now it is time for me to invoke my "lick the tears"
After rooting for the Patriots so far, I’d love to see the Giants pull this out with a FG
I'd hate for the Pats to lose two super bowls on two "miracle catches"

That was a sound catch.
Not a fluky miracle.

Oh boy.
This is going too fast. Slow down Giants.
I am enjoying the game
But I can’t bring myself to care who wins
they took turns pissing into the bitch's ocular cavities.
This way to the cafeteria!
They should have let Nicks run in with it
so Brady would have a shot.
It was just intense, and it was ball, and it was juice. The juice level in that room was high, and it was awesome.
I would love to see Tom Brady actually having to lead a touchdown drive to win a game
Rather than just be able to settle for field goal range
I have seen a few in my day. . .
Greatly disappointing
. . .
Dustin Ackley, Earl Thomas, Gary Payton
Why
would anyone do that? If you want to see naked ladies on the internet, I think you’ve probably got better options.

I need to check this out

Why don't the Patriots just let them score?
Seriously, I’d rather bet on Brady than my defense to actually do something.
NICE CALL
It was just intense, and it was ball, and it was juice. The juice level in that room was high, and it was awesome.
Blech
This is such a boring way to end a game, milking clock for a FG.
by jhmg16 on Feb 5, 2012 6:43 PM PST via mobile reply actions
What the hell just happened?
Was he coached to do it, or not?
ahahahahaha.
THIS!!! Wow, can’t believe that actually happened in a professional game, much less the Super Bowl!
Long suffering, committed Seahawks/Packers fan
I should be a defensive coordinator
I suggested that strategy 5 plays ago!

Or those 3 Super Bowl wins.
Your pick.

It doesn't
however if he pulls this off he’ll probably be called the greatest of all time.
I hope he fucks it up.
can't believe that was dropped
It was just intense, and it was ball, and it was juice. The juice level in that room was high, and it was awesome.
actually, tipped
but aaron dropped it.

Until next year, when Peyton wins one in Seattle.

Only until Peyton comes to Seattle
and leads the Hawks to two straight Super Bowl victories 2014 and 2015.
Right?
RIGHT?!?!
I wonder if any of the teams Peyton has had would be playoff teams with an average QB in his place.
I could only imagine if he had the talent on both sides of the ball that Eli has.
The irony of this super bowl week,
All week long I’d see or hear media guys talking “if Brady wins this super bowl does that make him the greatest ever” followed by a long comparison to Montana. And then followed by the “If Eli wins this super bowl is he better than Peyton?” followed by….“No. You can’t measure QB’s by super bowls”.

Well, that's the season
Great season everyone. I hope our Seahawks can complete their rebuild in 2012 and be a franchise that wins going forward.
The Pats might want to hire an actual GM.
Since, you know, Belichick is such a poor evaluator of talent.
He did OK drafting Gronk and Hernandez. Kind of a game changing duo.

Branch was still in bounds when he caught that ball when i replay it.
Definitely think it should have been reviewed at least.
Intentionally letting teams score a TD is stupid
Holmgren did it against the Broncos, didn’t he?

Great ! It's over !
Time for Pete Carroll & John Schnider to get back to work.
hey, go over to KSK.
they have hilarious comments from Pats and Giants fans. Always.
