Acceleration/burst: Wilson possesses a great initial burst and he can get up to speed in a hurry. Accelerates incredibly well through the hole. Defenses will get in trouble if they don't get a hand on him in a hurry. Has the speed to turn any run into a big play.
How Many Quarterbacks Will Be Drafted In The First Round? - Mocking The Draft
After yesterdays post on wide receivers, I thought I would follow up with a similar post on the quarterbacks. There was a general belief that the free agent market, containing Peyton Manning and Matt Flynn, would go some way towards helping narrow down the quarterback interest in the first round of the draft. But as of Friday, neither Manning or Flynn has signed anywhere.

Matt Flynn’s offers have diminished, but opportunities still abound | Shutdown Corner - Yahoo! Sports
It seems that as recently as a couple of weeks ago, any talk about former Green Bay Packers backup quarterback Matt Flynn had to include the inevitability of an enormous free-agent contract for the seventh-round pick out of LSU in 2008. The assumption was that despite his two NFL starts, Flynn was ready to lead a team at an elite level. There is some fire behind that smoke -- Flynn performed well against the New England Patriots in 2010, and threw for a franchise-record six touchdown passes against the Detroit Lions in the Packers' 2011 regular-season finale.

These stats belong to Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill’s performance in a blowout loss to Oklahoma in 2011. After studying his performance in this game and others, my conclusion is that Tannehill exhibits starter potential for the NFL.
