The Shutdown Corner Podcast: Greg Cosell on the 2012 Quarterback Draft Class | Shutdown Corner - Yahoo! Sports
It's time to welcome back an old friend to talk about some new things! Greg Cosell of NFL Films, who also produces ESPN's NFL Matchup show, did a weekly NFL pocast with us all last season. Now, with the NFL Draft just a month away and Greg ensconced in his bunker breaking down the 2012 draft class, we thought it would be good to get his expert take on all the prospects who will be vying for NFL futures very soon.

UT-Chattanooga QB B.J. Coleman: Decision-Making is Also Fundamental | The Rookie Scouting Portfolio
A few weeks ago, I profiled East Carolina receiver Lance Lewis and demonstrated how his fade routes often appear identical to Patriots receiver Brandon Lloyd. In that post, I mentioned that University of Tennessee-Chattanooga QB B.J. Coleman’s drop, play fake, and release of the football is no different than Peyton Manning. Coleman voraciously studied Peyton Manning’s game as a redshirt freshman at Tennessee before transferring to Chattanooga and it has paid huge dividends with his fundamentals.

Cosell Talks: Tebow, Sanchez, & New York, New York : NFL Films Blog
Upon reflection, I believe Tim Tebow was traded to the right team. This is a football opinion, not one based on his marketing or cultural icon value. In many ways, Rex Ryan and the New York Jets are contrarians. Their profile runs counter to the accepted notion that the NFL is a passing league driven by the play of the quarterback.

Draft Breakdown — Scouting Report: Doug Martin
Doug Martin is one of this class’s most complete and promising backs. Among other attributes, his combination of vision, balance, and burst stands out on film. He projects as a three down back at the next level, with the receiving and blocking ability necessary to see playing time early. Expect Martin to be the second running back off the board, potentially as early as the middle of the first round.

Mac's Football Blog: Bears Aren't Sold On Roster Expansion
During this week's NFL meetings in Palm Beach, Florida, discussion and votes on changes to the playing rules and league by-laws will take place. Proposed changes will be presented on Monday and voted upon on Wednesday, with 24 of 32 votes needed to make a change.

Pass-rusher or linebacker with the 12th pick? - Blog -
Defensive end has been a position of need for the Seahawks ever since they finished last season tied for 19th in the NFL with 33 sacks. With starters David Hawthorne and Leroy Hill still unsigned, linebacker is another area of concern.

Scout's take: 2012 NFC West QB situations - NFC West Blog - ESPN

2012 NFL Mock Draft: March 26th with Two Rounds | Mock Draft
The Pro Days are wrapping up and the NFL Draft is coming into much clearer focus as we aim towards the Combine upcoming. In this update, the top three picks seem obvious now,, but a big name offensive weapon falls, only two quarterbacks in the Top 20, it's a defensive line heavy first round.

Seattle Seahawks Blog - Hawk Blogger: Imagining Luke Kuechly
The only Kuechly would clearly bring to the Seahawks is a difficult to spell and pronounce last name (pronounced KEEK-ly). Outside of that, he is hard to project.

2012 NFL Mock Draft: Where Things Stand With A Month To Go -
Seattle Seahawks, David DeCastro, OG, Stanford It seems odd to see another offensive lineman in the draft for Seattle, but they did a pretty solid job of fixing other areas in free agency. They need someone to replace Robert Gallery. DeCastro is a rare specimen at guard, a guy who might be one of the league's best by October.
