I haven't been around here so much lately, as this past quarter has been brutal for a number of reasons. But school is going to back off for a couple quarters, so I'll be around more often after this next week. In the meantime, I was offered a position as a featured columnist with Bleacher Report, and this is my first post in a one to two-week trial run. I know that B/R has developed itself a pretty gnarly reputation for poor quality and even worse analysis, but they've been really stepping up their game over the last year. The whole writing and editing process is pretty detailed and stringent, and the editorial standards are really high. You'll still get the odd goofball blowing his load all over a page and calling it analysis, but the contributor hierarchy is designed to phase those guys out, and reward the quality guys who generate the most hits, comments, and produce the best analysis. Anywho, give 'er a look'see, and keep on the lookout for more of this goofball blowing his load on Field Gulls and calling it analysis.
