Wade Phillips thinks Bruce Irvin will be a big-time pass rusher and criticism of Seahawks is unfair. Phillips is a huge Irvin fan.
— Per John McClain. As some of you may have noticed, I'm a huge fan of the Phillips 3-4 and consider Wade one of the best defensive coordinators in the league (if not the best). The Phillips 3-4 has players like DeMarcus Ware stick to the line like glue, and if anyone (outside of the Hawks FO/coaching staff) gets what PC wants to do with Irvin, it's Wade.
