The Seahawks have some concerns. Having the second most penalties in the NFL is very concerning, I would like to hear more out of Pete as to what he's doing about it. Having three quarterbacks is concerning. Having your first two picks from 2011 on the training table is concerning. These points can legitimately cause one to wonder about Pete Carrol's "attention to detail".
And boy does Colin Cowherd love go on and on about "attention to detail", so much so that he gives almost zero attention to the details of his criticisms. In five minutes of excruciating radio, the ultimate anti-homer made the following points about Pete's lack of "attention to detail":
Pete is in his fourth year as Seahawks coach and...
...the first move he made was getting rid of Matt Hasselbeck...
...and Jim Harbaugh inherited a much less talented team than Pete Carrol.
Oh, and he played a joke with TO, because that's relevant.
I mean sure, you can say I'm nit-picking, I'm sure a lot of people would take Julius Jones and Aaron Curry over Frank Gore and Patrick Willis. And who's to say Matt Hasselbeck isn't some sort of time traveling doppelganger? But if you're going to criticize for "attention to detail" or lack thereof, try not to miss on the location of Our Lord and Savior's current whereabouts.
