America, here I am coming

Hi all, First of all I am apologizing for my English. It is not my first, not my second and even not my third language. My name is Juliy, I was born in Soviet Union (current Ukraine), but in the last 21 years I am leaving in Israel. You probably will ask how all this related to Seahawks and what this guy is doing on this site? Very simple: I am huge Seahawks fan and in my case it is not so simple. It is not easy to be football fan outside USA. It mean nobody understand what you are talking about. Nobody understand why you are smiling in the morning after play-off win against Saints. Nobody understand why you so tired on Monday morning(west coast time games have started at 23:15 my local time. It means I am going to sleep about 3:00 am, that left me 3-4 hours the most). I have nobody around me to discuss Seahawks related news, I have nobody to discuss American football at all. Despite all this I never even thought to miss game in the last few years (I wake up at 03:00 am to watch preseason last week). How I started? How football (soccer – in Europe if you say football it means soccer) guy become Seattle Seahawks fan. I’ve been in Seattle in 2002 for 3 month (trip related to my work) and have a lot of free time, so I watched some games on TV and also this one where Alexander scored 5 TD before the halftime (I think it was against Vikings, not sure). After this I started following the team thru the exciting 2005 season. I learned more and more about game and also about the team. I can say that now my day is starting from field gulls, Sando, Seattle insider, Seattle Draft blog. This team is huge part of my life. I like the team, I like Seattle and area. I think it is great place and gorgeous city. Every visit to USA I am trying to catch some games. In 2009 I’ve been on blow up lost 27-3 to Cards at home, last year I drove from Chicago to Pittsburgh to watch 24-0 lost. I guess I don’t bring many luck to the team. Nevertheless I am going to try again this year. So, next week I am landing in Phoenix Arizona (I am sure we will take revenge on 2009 shame) and then week after the main course – first home field game against Dallas and I got tickets for both games. It will be expensive trip (at least 5000$), but I am over-exited and very optimistic. Go Hawks.
