The Seattle defense in the first half of the MNF game may have been the best I've seen all year, by any team. I'm sure Sam Bradford is having nightmares right now.
I'm an editor at Turf Show Times, the SBNation site for the St. Louis Rams. I thought I'd drop in to both ask and answer questions as the game this week creeps up on us. The Edward Jones Dome should be rocking when our two teams meet. The Rams are still looking for a gob of answers to questions on the offensive side of the ball, while our defense seems to be finding a personality all its own.
Like the Chicago Bears game last week, I don't see tons of scoring happening by either side in the coming game. Defenses will rule the day, and two damn good secondaries will have their way with both wide receiver corps. You have the edge here though, in that our offensive line makes the Packers' line look great.
Both teams have the potential for solid rushing attacks, and I think whoever runs the ball best will win this one.
I have a couple of question to get things started, one being why doesn't Russell seem to like throwing to Sidney Rice?
If there's a weakness on the Seattle defense, where would it be? I've read some comments in threads here at Field Gulls that are calling for Matt Flynn already. Just how short a leash is Russell on?
I'll be inviting the Turf Show Times readers to drop in to help answer -and ask - questions over the next few days. If any of them forget they're guests here, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Here's to a great, injury free game!
