I watched the google hangout with Aaron Schatz, Kenneth and Jacson and was inspired to create my own stat. Well honestly I stole the stat name and its really not much of a stat, but I loved the effort by Ahmad Brooks a couple of weeks ago in the game against the 49ers. Ahmad needs some love because effort like that deserves our attention if not our respect so....

DVAR(W) stat - Defensive Valiant Attempts vs Russell Wilson is a work in progress but Ahmad Brooks is the current leader in my mind according to the 0 hours of research I have put into this process. He racked up a massive 2 DVAR(W) in one play!

Don't mind the name of the link because its not every player that is willing to embarrass himself on national television trying to tackle RW Ahmad! I expect this stat to take off in the playoffs and will keep plugging away at it for all of you stat guys!
