So goes the lyrics by Crosby, Stills, and Nash.
I was watching the highlights of the 23-0 shutout of the Giants last night on the laptop when my two-and-a-half-year-old son wandered out of his bedroom and joined me on the couch. He asked me what I was doing, and then looked at the laptop and asked if I was watching a football game. "Highlights," I told him, and the Seahawks logo flashed up on the screen. He doesn't quite fully understand what highlights are, but he knows a certain team logo when he sees one. "Seahawks," he said excitedly, pointing at the laptop.
After the highlight reel was over, I picked him up and carried him back towards his room. I asked him if he was a Seahawks' fan or a Redskins' fan - my wife is the latter - and he said, "Seahawks!"
I'm definitely one proud papa.
