Is Sidney a #1 WR

Hey everyone so I have been following the recent Seahawk's additions and I literally sleep less and less with every passing article, soundbyte, and picture. I am stoked about the addition of Percy Harvin but I am a little conflicted. I have only been following football heavily for about 3 years, before I was just a joe schmoe, but then I started playing fantasy football, and now I follow anything football related. That being said, I feel my lack of experience has me construing what a #1 WR is. I always thought a #1WR was someone between 6'2" and 6'4", fast, and physical, someone like Marshall, Fitzgerald, Megatron, and AJ Green come to mind, but when we originally signed Sid I heard ALL of these stories of how he is a true #2, and we are still lacking our #1. If Sid wasn't in the "number #1" mold, then how does the addition of Harvin help to achieve that goal. Harvin is a ridiculous player, but he is 5'10", what would seem short to be a #1 as well.

Now I know the notion is broke already as I know how talented Harvin is, and how clutch Sid is, and I can tell that are WR crew is set, but I am a little confused on what exactly constitutes as a "#1."
