OK, so as the title suggests, I'm a vikings fan. Your team is actually quite stacked now, what with Harvin, Wilson, Lynch, a pretty decent O-line to my knowledge, and a young, swarming defense.
I ask this question because over on Daily Norseman, we're doing a community mock draft and I'm the GM for the Seahawks. However, I'm not exactly sure what your needs are. I expect there are going to be a few guys coming off their rookie contracts in a year or two (it disgust me that after one amazing draft, you're already drafting for REPLACEMENTS), perhaps somewhere on the Defensive line? I know that originally, pass-rusher was a need, but seeing as you found Avril in free-agency, I'm assuming that need is lessened. I don't recall hearing the name of a tight end too often, could that be a possibility for you guys in the second round?
Now, we're not doing trades, so the pick WILL be at the end of the second round, no first, however, I imagine that suits you guys, as from what I know in my general, league-wide knowledge of rosters, the 'hawks aren't looking for an immediate starter at any major position.
perhaps your biggest need is on special teams? is Jon Ryan still your punter? haha, I'm just proud that I could name a recent punter for you guys.
so if you have any positions in mind that you might want, or specific players, just leave them in the comments below, it would be much-appreciated. I'll keep an extra special eye out for USC guys, or people that Carrol scouted during his time at USC.
