The top ten quarterbacks to play for the Hawks.

ESPN's Ron Jaworski recently rated Russell Wilson the 12 best starting qb for the coming season. I started to wonder where DangeRuss would rank in the history of Seahawk throwers. Even with only 16 games in the books, I still put Wilson ahead of legends of the past Krieg/Zorn. I wish that Warren Moon could have played his entire career in Seattle or at least his entire NFL career (maybe the CFL is where he needed to hone his craft). But until Russell slams some more seasons in the books, Moon the Hall of Famer will continue to be the best quarterback to play for Seattle. Russel could be better than Matt right now but I am going to give Matt the slight edge because I'm an old dude the shine of my head matches Matt's.

The ranking below was pulled from the darkest part of my pale white butt, with a twist (that sounds painful).

I imagined how each player in their prime would have done playing on the other players Seahawk teams. Krieg, Kitna, and Zorn might not have done better than Trent or Tjack but I would like to think they would...just because.

  1. Warren Moon
  2. Matt Hasselbeck
  3. Russell Wilson
  4. Dave Krieg
  5. Jon Kitna
  6. Jim Zorn
  7. Trent Dilfer
  8. Tarvaris Jackson
  9. Rick Mirer
  10. Seneca Wallace
