As we all anxiously await the beginning of training camp, I wondered how we, as Field Gulls get our visual fix of all things Seahawks. If your not within reach of one of the Seahawk TV network stations available here and I'm not, you have to pay big to get your Seahawk game fix. I'm trying to cope with the concept that Honolulu and Alaska are close enough to get local broadcasts but, Arizona doesn't have enough senile old Hawk codgers and snow Hawks like me to support a local broadcast (Ehhh?! Huh? Is it time for pudding yet?).
I personally get to watch live and free (broadcast not cable) and in my very own family room 2, yes I said 2, Seahawk games, both Cardinal games, at the CLink and in that fake university stadium in Glendale Az. Since the Seahawks are possibly/probably Superb Owl participants there might be more local broadcasts of our Hawks. Pre-season Four git about tit! Hugh Grant
I can subscribe to either of the local cable (Cox) or satellite (Directv) feeds that are "ON SPECIAL" for a "LIMITED TIME OFFER for only $XX.XX a month and get NFL"....Okay that's enough of that. I can also transport myself down the road to Scottsdale and watch at the local Seahawks bar here. It's a really nice place ($$ per Yelp) that I could nurse a beer (I don't nurse, not gonna happen, I will drink) and hang with fellow Hawk fans. This I plan to do at least once to connect with my Hawk bros and gals. And I guess I should go check it out at least once. If I plan it right I should be able to get transportation to and from (If I expect the Seahawks to be responsible I must be also) and not spend more than $30 or $40 on beer and wings. I like to cook and watch, which would be precluded by going out. And you can get your historical replay (Not Live) fix thru NFL.com if you want to watch it when you get home from work or the mother in laws (does that ever work???).
You have to do it LIVE and preferably with the game stream on your laptop/tablet/tabletop smart phone thingy. You can't really truly understand Field Gullers NEED to FEED on Hawk games till you try to follow the
rabid I mean rapid response comments of game time threadites Field Gullers trying to one up each other. It's fun, awesome and kinda scary at the same time.
Cable, Satellite, stream (legal) and ahh you know the other kind. I thought it would be a good time to share how we get our Seahawks visual fix. I especially encourage those that are out of the network area, to share where you are and how you get the Seahawks (primarily live video game feed but live audio too might help others in your area). I know it's extremely challenging for some to get the game live around the Seahawk world. Except maybe no great specifics about that illegal or improper streamy stuff that might get Danny or anybody at FGs in trouble or mad at me.
So how will you keep eyes on the Hawks this season! Nine days! Just nine more days!
Hey maybe we could get live real time satellite feeds of VMAC practices? Does Bing or Google offer that? Don't tell Bill Belichick.
