Dear Mr. Lynch,
Being the grumpy asshole that I am I always find something to complain and bitch about.
During to voluntary team activities I was stupid enough to write something about you sir.
I must confess that at the time I was questioning your absence from those activities and wondered if that had something to do with why the teams invested 2 draft choices to running backs.
I’m sorry sir. Sorry for doubting your actions and choices. Sorry for wondering why you felt that training on your own your way is better than training with the team. Sorry for not placing my faith in you and you alone.
It’s been only 2 months since and I am watching you practicing in full pads again. You are not in N.Y. or in Switzerland, you are not wearing a boot or a red shirt. You are not having your knee/shoulder/hamstring rested, you are playing.
With 20% of the team facing this or that medical issue preventing them from regular play it seems that we are back fully in your capable hands.
I’m sorry for my bad feelings when Pete said “We will continue to be a run first team”, I’m sorry for falling for this or that highly paid toy after all you did for us.
I'm so very sorry.
Please forgive me. Please carry on doing it your way and may the force be with you.
Ohh…and please, next year, could you please invite some more of your teammates to join you in your preparations for next season. I don't really know what they are but they do look like they produce better results medically.
Again, I'm sorry Mr. Lynch, I won't make that mistake ever again. In Lynch I trust.
