Tidbits from the Gamebook:

DangeRuss:

Over the last nine games, Russell Wilson has taken command of Darrell Bevell's offense and led Seattle to an 8‐1 record and an NFL‐leading 119.6 passer rating since Week 9 of the 2012 season, becoming just one of five players in that category. He threw for his 10th 100‐plus passer rating game (115.7) at Carolina (9/8) in his 17th
career start.

BeastMode:

* Marshawn Lynch leads the NFL with 16 100‐yard games since 2011
* Has rushed for 100 or more yards in 16 of his last 26 games
* His 2,574 rushing yards since Week 9 of the 2011 season lead the NFL
* Earned two‐consecutive Pro Bowl berths with Seattle, three overall (2008, 2011, 2012)
* Set career‐highs in carries (315, 5th NFL), yards (1,590, 3rd NFL), average gain (5.0, 4th NFL) and most yards from scrimmage
(1,786, 4th NFL) in 2012
* Lynch became just the third player (Chris Warren, Shaun Alexander) in Seahawks history to rush for 1,500 yards
* Owns three of the top‐five highest yards per carry average games in Seahawks history with his 11.64 ypc and 11.30 ypc games
eclipsing position coach Sherman Smith's 8.86 ypc game in 1976

It's all about the ball:

One of Pete Carroll's main mantras to the team since arriving in 2010 is taking care of the football. Protecting the ball will lead to offensive opportunities to put points on the board and preserving wins. On the flip side, Carroll stresses forcing turnovers from the opponent on a weekly basis during his "Turnover Thursday" practices, emphasizing the importance of getting the ball out. Since 2010, Seattle is 18‐3 when winning the turnover battle. The team finished ranked tied for fifth in the NFL in 2011 and 2012 with +8 and +13 turnover margins, respectively, and have totaled 64 takeaways against 42 giveaways since 2011.
