Someone asked Tom (fairly mediocre, recently) Terrific about his old nemesis, famed former Jets CB Darrelle Revis. Tom confirmed to PFT's MDS that Revis is 'the best CB in the league,' and that he can't think of another corner to even be in the same conversation with him who plays in the NFL currently. Maybe Bailey? But not the current iteration of Champ...more like the Champ six seasons ago. Aside from that, gotta go back to Patrick Surtain and Woodson. I mean, the rest of this current crop of NFL DBs are just hacks, anyway, right, Tom? Thus the reason for your passing numbers creeping ever skyward, year after year...oh, wait. Nevermind that last part.
But certainly not Richard Sherman. And certainly not Patrick Peterson.
Wait, didn't Peterson pick you off in New England last year in week four, when they beat you in your house?
And wait another minute there, didn't Sherm pick you off last time you played the Seahawks, when you told Sherm to come talk to you after "you win?" I'm starting to think you might just still be mad, bro.
Come to think of it, Earl picked you off in that game, too! In fact, it looks like the Seahawks have a Safety who's as good as, or maybe even better in coverage at this point than is Revis.
But it doesn't matter, anyway. Sherman's still better. So is Peterson. Shit, so is Joe Haden. And Cary Williams probably isn't far behind. Better keep your eyes on Mo Claiborne, while you're at it.
But go ahead, Tommy, be transparently bitter and enraged on all that NFC West haterade you've been drinking. After all, if you can't beat em, hate em!
We've always known you were a sore loser, anyway. Maybe you should get yourself a Niners jersey!
