Hey everyone. There are those who might say that writing to SBN complaining about the Canal Street Chronicle twitter account is stupid and petty. I disagree. SBN is a collection of websites that provide a product that is enjoyed by fans all across the globe. Being a person who has worked almost exclusively in customer service related positions, it's my belief that consumers have the duty to provide feedback to those that provide a product. The behavior of the person or persons posting comments on the CSC Twitter account is not something I imagine the folks at SBN want to be associated with.
There are two such tweets that I am referring to. The first tweet said "I'll take the flag, see you next year Percy Harvin" although that tweet was apparently deleted a short time afterwards because of the negative reaction is received from fans. The second tweet, which is still up at the time of my writing, said "HARVIN'S DEAD AGAIN". This tweet received negative feedback as well, and the author backtracked several times, saying that he/she was not rooting for injuries, and could have worded his/her posts better. When those tweets weren't enough to appease some fans, the author deflected responsibility, posting that multiple people are responsible for posting tweets on the account.
For those of you who agree with me, you can submit your feedback to SBN by following this link. I filed my feedback under "I have an idea to improve your website" suggesting that they remove the people responsible for the inappropriate tweets. Feel free to do the same.
