A few injury updates provided by Pete Carroll on Wednesday afternoon.
-- Russell Okung is a question mark for this weekend with a bruised lung suffered just before halftime last week. He hasn't been ruled out and I figure the Seahawks will wait until the last second before decided on Okung's status for this week. As Carroll said today, "He is still in the mix. He's going to have some stuff done tomorrow that will let us know where he sits and all of that, so he is not out of the plan yet." If he can't play, Alvin Bailey will again get the start at left tackle.
-- Max Unger had a rough go in his recovery from some workouts last week so his status is still up in the air for this week. Unger has been trying to come back from knee and ankle injuries suffered against the Chiefs. If he can't go, Lemuel Jeanpierre will start his fifth straight game.
-- Tony Moeaki will practice today but Pete Carroll mentioned that he'll have to show the coaches that he's ready to play. Moeaki suffered a shoulder injury against the Niners. The good news on the tight end front is that Cooper Helfet should be back and ready to play this week, which gives the Seahawks some needed depth if Moeaki can't play.
