Not long ago some favored the false prophit Matt Flynn, non 3leivers cried out for a change at QB half way through the first quarter of opening day in Arizona two years ago. A few weeks later they said the rookie was ruining our season. By now all have converted to the path of the enlightenment and all is forgiven. Winning cures everything.
Turn back the clock, before the now historic draft of 2012, manny of the so called experts wanted Kirk Cousins or Brock Owesweiler to be our qbotf. Imagine that, a tall qb. After the draft highly respected seahawksdraftblog guru lambasted the brain trust for drafting Russell Wilson and passing on rutgars wr Mohamed Massaquoi. And he wasn't the only one to do so. By my count John Gruden, Ashton Meem and Joh Schneider seemed to be the only ones excited by Russ getting picked by our Hawks.
So back to my question. Was there anybody here saying we need to get Russell Wilson before the draft? Who was the first one to throw their cap in the Wilson camp? Does anybody still have a Flynn jersey? Did all this really happen? Because for this lifelong Seattle native (aka mossback) it feels like a dream.
